This holiday season is such a wonderful time because we get to celebrate the birth of Christ – God entering into our world, in the flesh! BUT, the greater significance of this is tied to what He did after that – how He lived amongst us, and ultimately how He concluded His time on the earth. History and eternity were transformed not just because Jesus was born, but because of what He did from that point on. When it’s your time to go, will you be remembered for something that happened years and years ago? Or moreso for the life you’ve lived everyday up to the present? In Fusion, we’ve had an incredible year! Yes, certainly not without a lot of bumps and bruises along the way, but definitely with a lot of “fruit” and the fingerprints of Jesus all over us even now! Jesus said “I came that they may have life and have it abundantly” (John10:10). He didn’t mean that life would be easy, but that by walking with Him, it would be purposeful and productive. So let’s continue to press on with Jesus, so we can state anytime as Paul did… “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith” (2Tim.4:6). 2010, here we come!
