Welcome to the Fusion Kidz Garden Newsletter This past Sunday the children saw the story of the Good Samaritan. Our Pre-K and K+ classes worked very hard rehersing the story of the Good Samaritan. They then came to the toddler class and performed it for them. We have so many talented young people in our program it was so Being a Good Samaritan is something we can all do everyday. Run errands for a neighbor who can’t get out easily, help a sibling clean up a mess, cook a meal for a family that is struggling, etc. The country of Haiti was devestated this week by a natural disaster. Grace Community Church is collecting supplies to send to Haiti and planning a mission trip for later this year. If you would like to donate any of the following items there will be a collection site set up in the park-and-ride near Grace following Sunday’s services until 2pm. The items being collected are: Cases of bottle water – both gallon jugs and individual bottles, Infant formula – powder or liquid, Nutrition bars – or other easy to distribute, nutritional foods, Medical Supplies – first aid bandages, ointment, gauze, Medicines – Pain relief, over the counter only. *Note: no canned food or clothing at this time. |

Buzz at Home If you haven’t gotten your cards yet or can’t find this week’s here is a summary of this week’s card: This week, your child learned about helping others. Read Luke 10:30-37 together, and have your family re-enact the story pretending the Smile Ball is the wounded person at the side of the road. A fun addition to this re-enactment might be to place a Band-Aid on the ball or to place the ball on a bed. Discuss together someone your family could help the way the good Samaritan helped the man at the side of the road. And remember: God is perfect, so we help others. |

Now that we’ve moved to the hotel we’d like to go over the new drop off and pick up policies. Your families names tags will be located in the hallway between the toddler and Pre-K classrooms. Please get your parent tags and children’s tags before taking them into worship or their classrooms. At drop off please wait at the front door until a volunteer for that room finishes checking your child in. Use this time the let the teacher know anything they might need to know for the night (child is teething, didn’t nap and is cranky, started walking/crawling, etc) For pick up please wait at the front door again until a teacher checks your child out. At this time they can explain the craft the children made. It also helps us ensure the safety of the children by knowing Please try to pick up your children by 6:45. If something comes up you can give your tag to someone you trust and ask them to pick up your children. Once you’ve picked up your child please refrain from letting them go back into any of the classrooms. This is for the safely of your children as well as to allow our volunteers time to get everything cleaned and packed up. |
Welcome To
Your little ones are like seeds, ready to grow and become beautiful plants. All they need is some good soil, water, and of course sun. Your family provides the soil for their little roots to take hold in. We hope to work with you to provide water, the Word of God, to nourish them and help them feel the light of the Son. The Watering Can This past November our church came together to pack up and ship out boxes full of toys to needy children. We exceeded our goal of 28 boxes and sent out 34 boxes!! Those boxes were delivered to children in the Ukraine, Phillipeans, and Central Asia. Take some time to talk about these countries and how the boxes we packed helped those children.
